ELG Space Business Unit carries out its activities in the areas of use of satellite and space technologies for our everyday life. The two main areas of activities are downstream value-added services and research and development. The downstream value-added services cover the following areas:
development and planning
disaster monitoring
land use and land cover monitoring
pollution monitoring
security
The RTD activities are concentrated in the areas of peaceful use of satellite and space technologies for Earth Observation, GMES, Remote Sensing and monitoring.
